SYS is a search and retrieval software program that federal defender offices (FDO) have been using for a number of years. ISYS’s information indexing capabilities provide immense functionality in searching both electronic documents and materials provided in hard copy that are subsequently scanned and converted to a text searchable format (such as a searchable PDF).
